Review Collector — Extension Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 July 2026
This policy covers the Fluvencio Review Collector Chrome extension, published by Whizzyminds Tech LLP (“Fluvencio”, “we”, “us”). The extension is a companion to the Fluvencio Review Intelligence product: it collects a product’s public Amazon reviews from your own signed-in browser session so they can be analysed in your Fluvencio brand workspace. It is intended for Fluvencio account holders acting on products they are authorised to research.
1. What the extension does
When you click Collect reviews from this tab on an Amazon.in product page, the extension navigates that tab through the product’s public review pages (across rating, sort, verified and keyword filters), reads the visible review content, and sends it to the Fluvencio API for AI analysis. It runs only when you explicitly start a collection.
2. Information the extension handles
- Fluvencio sign-in: your Fluvencio email and password are sent once to the Fluvencio API to obtain an access token. The password is not stored by the extension; only short-lived access/refresh tokens are kept in the browser’s extension storage to authenticate API calls.
- Public review content: for the product you choose, the extension reads publicly displayed reviews (rating, title, text, reviewer display name, date, verified-purchase badge, variant, helpful votes) and the product title/rating/review count. It sends this to the Fluvencio API tied to your brand workspace and the analysis you created.
- Your Amazon session: the extension relies on you already being signed in to Amazon in your browser so the review pages render. It does not read, copy, store, or transmit your Amazon credentials, cookies, orders, addresses, or payment information.
3. Permissions and why they are needed
- Host access to amazon.in: to open the product’s review pages and read the visible review content.
- Host access to api.fluvencio.com: to sign you in and upload the collected reviews for analysis.
- “debugger”: Amazon’s “Show more reviews” control only responds to genuine (trusted) interactions, so the extension uses Chrome’s debugger API to perform those clicks and read the paged results. It is used solely to drive the review pages of the tab you are collecting from, only during an active collection, and is detached when finished. Chrome shows a “debugging” banner while this runs. It is never used to inspect other sites, network traffic, or credentials.
- tabs / activeTab / scripting: to identify the Amazon product tab you are on and read the rendered review content from it.
- storage: to keep your Fluvencio session tokens and the current collection’s status.
4. What we do NOT do
- We do not collect your browsing history, or data from any site other than the Amazon product-review pages you choose to collect.
- We do not access or store Amazon credentials, cookies, purchase history, addresses, or payment details.
- We do not sell data, and we do not run ads or third-party trackers in the extension.
- We do not run in the background or collect anything unless you press Collect.
5. How the collected data is used and stored
Collected reviews are stored in your Fluvencio brand workspace and processed by our AI analysis engine to produce insights (sentiment, issues, competitive signals, etc.), each linked back to the reviews that support it. This data is handled under the main Fluvencio Privacy Policy, including its security, retention, and data-deletion terms. You can delete an analysis (and its collected reviews) from your workspace at any time.
6. Data sharing
Collected review data is sent only to the Fluvencio API (api.fluvencio.com). Review text is processed by our AI provider (an OpenAI-compatible gateway) to generate analysis. We do not share it with any other third party.
7. Your responsibility
You are responsible for using the extension in compliance with Amazon’s terms and applicable law, and for only collecting reviews of products you are authorised to research. The extension accesses only publicly visible review content.
8. Contact & deletion
To request deletion of collected data or ask a question, contact hello@fluvencio.com, or use the in-app deletion described in the main Privacy Policy.
